The bindings are rectangular, and the front and the back are finely hand-painted with central lobed medallions depicting various figures in domestic and garden settings surrounded by flower sprays and foliage within a further border of flower sprays.
The inner sides are painted with birds and antelope amongst vegetation on a black background. The book has clean pages that are ready to be used for writing poems.

CONDITION: Showing age and usage, complete with its 46 pages, some wear on the edges and spine, surface touch-up with black paint as consistent with its age and is expected in old papier-mache lacquer.
