Antique 19th-century hunter key wind pocket watch for the Turkish Ottoman market. The dial is a stunning work of art, crafted from white enamel and adorned with black Ottoman/Turkish numerals, signed in Arabic script, followed by a delicate floral garland. The hands are intricately designed - pierced and gilt - adding an extra layer of sophistication. The dial also features a subsidiary seconds dial, completing the refined and detailed design.

The Hunter case is made entirely of low-grade silver, featuring an intricate guilloche pattern and scroll designs on both the front and back. The center of the front cover has a vacant cartouche. The interior of both the front and back cover bears the Starr encircled "Montre Brevetee," silver hallmarks, and registration numbers "36" and "3048".

The stem button opens the front and back covers. All hinges function perfectly.

Jeweled movement is gold washed and is engraved "Montre Brevetee."

Condition: There are minor hairline cracks in the enameled dial, and the watch cannot be wound up because the key is missing. We cannot determine whether or not the watch is functional.

The front and back covers can be opened by pressing the button on the stem. However, the button is very tight and not functioning correctly. It might be due to the accumulation of old oil and dirt, which can be resolved by cleaning and lubricating it.
