This authentic antique necklace dates from the late 19th century and originates from Ethiopia. It is crafted with 46 handmade silver beads that have a roundish shape, along with natural, undyed branch corals. The necklace features two large, round silver beads that are incised with geometric patterns, as well as an elaborate early form of the Silver Ethiopian Coptic Cross pendant that includes a hinge.

MEASUREMENTS (approximately):

The overall length of the double string, including the pendant, is 38.5 cm (15.16 inches).

Height of the silver pendant: 7.6 cm (2.99 inches).

Weight: 84 grams.

CONDITION: The necklace is in its original condition, featuring an intact, rich, dark patina. The silver beads and cross show natural wear in exposed areas due to usage. We have chosen to leave the patina on the silver; however, if someone wishes to wear this necklace as personal jewelry, it is easy to clean the patina from the surface.

It's also possible that these antique beads were restrung at a later time.
