Or Best OfferAntique, American Folk Art, early 20th century, fine quality hardwood ladle, finely hand carved in relief with stylized crane and woman holding basket and a loaf of bread, with book carved into handle/arm - arm extends downward and on the reverse a carved hand holds the bowl - bowl with scalloped edge - all carved out of one piece of wood.
CONDITION: In good condition and shape, considering its age, with signs of age and usage, with old dark glossy patina, the top corner of the handle with a minor chip, as is common in old wood. No cracks, restorations or repairs. Colors may differ slightly with items in pictures, due to lighting conditions, and color settings of different computers.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 41 cm (16.14 inches).
