A rare majolica portrait tile from the US Encaustic Tile Company of Indianapolis, IN, depicting a bearded man with a large brimmed hat, finished in a translucent pale green glaze. The tile is in very good condition with light wear to the hat brim, the man's nose and high points of the mustache, as shown. Please write with any questions you may have.
