Antique Art deco Reverse painted Sacred Heart Jesus framed in art Deco ornate religious wood frame

 

The photos on this do not even come close to doing this portrait justice. It is truly magnificent. The contrast of the reverse painted black glass against this 1920's portrait is beyond beautiful. Jesus's face is so well done, unlike some portraits from that period. THe photos just don't show up well. The frame is wood with raised relief and on the glass are two golden crossed. Ont he back is the original paper and tag from the Ben Behr  framer back in the 20's. This measures 17' tall x 13" wide and is in very good condition less the paper on the back.
