It has the appearance of a double ended tack puller but has provisions for mounting it to a bench or fixture with a swivel where the mounting plate and puller connecting rod join together.  The V-shapes are 1.25 inch long and about .3 inch wide at the widest point.  The mounting plate is 2.25 x 1.0 inch and the overall length of the puller is 10 inch long.  It is made of cast iron or steel.  It is fairly light duty and I was told it was used by a cobbler.  It has about 90% of it's black Japanning intact, not cracked, one claw is very slightly out of alignment with the other.  Overall in great shape.  Unique!
