This is a good old (from the early 1930's era) 8" swing brace marked "MADE IN GERMANY" on one side. It features the hardwood head and swing handle, the handle. It has the simplistic non-spring loaded 2-jaw type chuck with no ratchet system on this model.   We note that there is a minor woodgrain separations in the head handle, otherwise the wooden handles are in good solid condition.  It has a darkened finish on the bare steel, but looks good, not beat up, the handles look good as well with only a few rubs and dings of any size worth mentioning. The brace head and handle turn freely. A good light weight brace for drilling holes under 3/4" diameter.
