Antique Chinese enamel Bracelet With camphor glass inserts peacock colored enamel

Peacock enamel colors of turquoise and green create beautiful frames for amber colored camphor glass inserts. Each link has high raised links that has intricate filigree and etruscan work that is all hand wrought. The bracelet is marked china silver and it  has a gilt outer layer. This also has its original safety chain. The clasp works great and is hidden in one of the links when it is on. Each link is hinged and each hinge works great. When you hold this to the light you can see the morning sun color that comes thru when you look at it. Intricate metal work on the inside is as delicate and detailed as the outside. This is such a beautiful example of artisan work that has been long since left the jewelry work. Tiny cobalt enamel wave shapes accent all the other beautiful enamel colors. It measures 7 1/4" long when closed and is 3/4" wide and heavy. 

The bracelet is in very good condition and is sturdy and well made. There is some enamel loss which can be expected over the years considering is age and many travels.
