A bulbous body covered with olive-green glaze, ending irregularly above an unglazed foot, surmounted by a trumpet-shaped neck applied on the rim, with a band form of eight lotus petals and set with a separately made fish-shaped spout and looped handle. Body with a prominent flange at the midpoint, the lower half applied with the hand carved in relief five masks in the form of the faces each with a pair of the bulbous eyes, big mouth and long hair curled upwards. The upper shoulder applied with the hand carved in relief garlands of palmettes. This type of adornment, similar to Greco-Roman decorations, was inspired by Ghaghara art ornaments since Kushan missionaries were influential in bringing Buddhist religion and art to China.
