Antique Czech Bohemian garnet Mask Brooch Hand cut garnets

 

This brooch looks just like a mask from a masquarade. It is an early piece that has hand cut bohemian garnets that are set into an open hole back setting. Bohemaian garnets are the deepest fiery red color of any in the garnet family. These type of garnets were popular in the mid to late 1800's and are very much desired in today's time.  The brooch is all original and measures 1 1/3" long.
