Antique Czech enamel necklace ANtique Czech sacred heart Crucifix very goth

 

THis antique necklace has a large filigree and enamel pendant that holds large cabochons of blue, green and red.  Made in layers, this is rivoted together and is held on by a cobalt blue cabachon hanger.The chain is not only original, but quite well made with double heavy brass links. I love the deep color that brass turns as it ages and this has all of that. The large ( 3" with hanger) pendant holds an antique brass crucifix. The back of the crucifix reads " Father Forgive them, Behold this heart which has so loved men" . The two pieces measured together hang down a whopping 5". The chain measures 17" long and it has its original clasp.  Very goth or medieval, this period piece, has come to a revival period in this century where it is in very much demand.
