Super, strong design depicting a winged figure in the style of Neronic Rome with a garland contained by an egg and dart patterned frame imitating marble, etc., beautifully transfer-printed in brown on a heavy, buff clay body from Mintons China Works, c. 1868-1890. Tile is in excellent/very good condition with a slight crack running under the glaze at the upper right; it is finished in a bright, clear shiny glaze. Please write with any questions you may have.
