A beautifully glazed and designed heart image with a lot of movement by an unattributed English tile firm, possibly Pilkington's, c.1910 - 1930. It is in excellent/very good condition with light surface scuffing, particularly to the right of the heart, and a few bottom edge nibbles as shown.  Please see inventory number DJ1049 for a German interpretation of this idea!
