Antique French Louis XVI Style Beaded Crystal Gilt Brass Chandelier

Our client's tremendous antique gilt brass chandelier in the French Louis XVI style, circa 1920s, measures 34 inches across and 68 inches tall, and features hundreds of faceted crystals including a large upper canopy, lower canopy and three inch crystal drops hanging at the base. It has a total of 16 standard size, wired sockets, including 4 at the very facing downward, 4 facing upward around the central stem, and 8 around the widest part at the base.
In good condition. Frame recently regilded, including central stem, outer rings and hook at top. Oxidation to the patina elsewhere. Original hardware connecting the canopy frame to the stem missing, replaced by heavy duty vinyl ties. Some bends to the canopy frame. Some of the draped crystal chain in the upper canopy replaced and not precisely matching original, but very difficult to notice. Smaller crystals covering lower canopy apparently all original. All three inch crystal drops at base brand new. Some of the upright acanthus leaf shaped crystals replaced. With modern wiring, ready for installation.
