This beautiful cylinder desk in the style of Jean-François Leleu (1729-1807) dates from circa 1890, and is in very good condition.  Its craftsmanship, including the quality of the gilt bronze mounts, is of a very high quality, comparable to the work of the best French cabinet makers of the late 19th/early 20th century such as Francois Linke, Joseph E. Zwiener and Jean-Henri Riesener.  Measures:  47.25" wide, 22.75" deep, 49" tall (120 by 58 by 124 cm).
