Antique French Monstrance

Our antique French silver monstrance measures 27.75 by 13 inches. Weighs 1842 grams, 3 lbs. 1.0 ounces.  Its marks include a cockerel in eight sided cartouche which was the Paris standard or title mark in use from 1798 through 1819.  The other decipherable mark is an eagle head.  The maker's mark in triangular cartouche, and other marks are all heavily worn and cannot be deciphered.
