Swirling, jugendstil popular heart design that fills the tile in a warm reddish maroon glaze on an ivory field from the preeminent German tile maker, Wessel Wandplattenfabrik, c. 1898-1910.  The tile is in very good condition with very slight edge nicks as shown; please write with any questions you may have.
