Swirling, jugendstil popular heart design that fills the tile in a pleasing blueish green glaze on an ivory white field from the preeminent German tile maker, Wessel Wandplattenfabrik, c. 1898-1910.  The tile is in very good condition with very slight edge nicks as shown and some surface wear on the right stamen of the right hand heart-shaped leaf. It is a slightly different nouveau design from the tile that I also have listed in a moroon red and would make a nice matching set. I have two of these tiles and am showing a photo of the pair in this listing.  The other is reference number "DJ2003".   Please write with any questions you may have. Thank you..
