This is an antique Indian padlock from the early 20th century, made entirely of brass. The front plate features an intricate design of the Hindu god Hanuman.

It's important to note that both the body and the shackle of this padlock are made of brass. In contrast, later Indian brass padlocks typically have an iron shackle instead of the flat brass shackle found on this one.

 

MEASUREMENTS: Height: 10.3 cm (4.06 inches).
