Antique 19th-century Indo-Persian Islamic ceramic circular tile. It is hand-painted under a clear crackle glaze and features a young Muslim aristocrat Polo Player. The aristocrat is dressed in an elaborate costume with a turban on his head, holding a long-handled mallet while riding a beautiful galloping Arabian horse. The horse is caparisoned with a saddle, trappings, and a saddle cloth.

MEASUREMENTS: Diameter 21.5 cm (8.46 inches).

CONDITION: It is in good condition with an old patina. No cracks, chips, or repairs.

The tile comes together with an old hanger.
