Superb quality antique 19th century Islamic, Ottoman Empire Syrian large hand hammered brass planter -jardinière of bulbous form with flared neck. The exterior is finely hand chiseled with Arabic calligraphic calligraphy among profusely chiseled palmette and vegetal interlace design.
