Antique late 19th century silver mounted North African Islamic tribal, Tuareg dagger.

Details: Straight, double-edged tapering iron blade with ricasso clad in encased in engraved silver, with elaborate profiled silver mounted hilt engraved in geometrical pattern.

In its original, tooled leather scabbard with silver mounts engraved in geometrical pattern en suite with the hilt.

CONDITION: Showing signs of usage and wear.

MEASUREMENTS: Overall length of the dagger, sheathed in the scabbard: 26 cm (10.24 inches).
