Our client's figural group sculpture of musician putti of Italian origin, circa 1900, measures 24 inches tall and 22 inches wide (61 by 56 cm). Apparently unsigned. Provenance: Sotheby's.
In good condition. There are restorations to breaks to the bow and hand holding the bow. There is surface dirt, particularly in crevices, plus nicks, scratches, and small chips elsewhere, all consistent with age.
