DETAILS: A well hand forged very masculine tsuba made of thick and heavy large iron “Kaku Gata” plate with unregular raised rim (Mimi) hammered with wavy outline. Surface pierced with Kozuka and Kogai hitsu-ana Kogai and plugged with blackened copper pegs.
DIMENSIONS: 72 mm x 69 mm. Rim: 6 mm (2.83 inches x 2.72 inches Rim: 1/4 Inch)
WEIGHT: 177 grams (6.243 oz)
CONDITION: Age and usage is showing. In good condition considering its age. With excellent patina and color.
