Our client's antique (Meiji period) hexagonal shaped silver koro (incense burner) is inset with gold-lacquer panels in six lobes, each depicting flowers trees in bloom and birds executed in exquisite Shibayama technique, the body embellished with floral enamel mounts with elephant heads with rings at the shoulder, raised on six silver legs and with domed cover depicting two peacock birds.  In good condition.  May be used as an urn or flower vase.  13 by 8 inches.
