This is a large and exquisite antique Japanese cloisonné-enamel and embossed-foil (ginbari) Akasuke (Pigeon Blood) footed bowl with a lid and silvered mounts. The bowl's body is covered with red ginbari featuring a bamboo pattern, while the lid is decorated with fine details of pink and white roses and green leaves on a translucent deep red ginbari ground with the same bamboo pattern.

The silvered mounts add a touch of elegance to the overall design.

The maker's mark is stamped on the base of the bowl.

This piece is a true work of art and a testament to the skill and creativity of Japanese artisans.
