Antique Medieval Seljuk Turks, Islamic Empire, circa 1037–1194 A.D. (429 AH - 589 AH) Khorasan cast bronze vessel, pyriform in shape, featuring a flared mouth and base.

The body is intricately hand-chiseled with eight hexagonal panels adorned with interlaced scrolling arabesque patterns and lobed cartouches, supported by six small triangular panels.

The rim of the mouth and base is engraved with a decorative band of scrolling vines.

CONDITION: It is in good condition, considering its age of over 900 years, with no restorations or repairs except for a minor split at the rim of the mouth.

The piece shows signs of age and usage, displaying a beautiful patina.

MEASUREMENTS:

Height: 8.2 cm (3.23 inches)

Diameter of the base: 5.4 cm (2.13 inches).
