This is a rare and authentic antique medieval Islamic ceramic bowl from Egypt during the Mamluk period, which dates back to the 13th-14th century AD (7th century AH - 8th century AH).

The bowl is tall and has a deep form, resting on a disc-shaped, short foot with a beautiful turquoise-green glaze. The rim of the bowl is incised with a serrated pattern.

It's noteworthy that these Turquoise glazed Mamluk ceramic types were inspired by the Medieval Persian Kashan turquoise glazed pottery.
