Antique circa 1900 A.D. Middle Eastern Arab Yemeni Shafra Islamic dagger Kusha knife. This dagger has a silver hilt decorated with traditional Yemeni Arabian motifs. The pommel is in the form of a bird head adorned with knobbed finals.
The other side of the hilt is engraved with calligraphic Arabic script and affixed with two small suspension loops.
The sturdy, single-edged, hand-forged steel blade has visible forging marks and is decorated on both sides with chased stars.
It comes with its original wooden scabbard bound in dark brown tooled leather.

CONDITION: It is in good condition, showing signs of age and usage.

MEASUREMENTS:
Overall length with the scabbard: 26.5 cm (10.43 inches).
Overnight without the scabbard: 25.5 cm (10.04 inches).
