Lovely "Persian Ware" floral design transfer printed and handpainted under a clear glaze from Minton Hollins & Co., showing the influence of Iznick pottery on William Morris and other Aesthetic designers of the time. The tile's design was registered on January 26, but the year is indecipherable from the registration stamp on the back. It is in excellent condition with the four corners having been clipped for its original installation. Very bright, clear glossy glaze. Please write with any questions you may have.
