Greek Roman Bronze Oil Lamp Style Chandelier

$2,950.00
Quantity available: 1

Our lovely European bronze and brass fixture from the early 20th century is in the form of a Greek or Roman hanging oil lamp decorated with neoclassical masks, possibly depicting the Greek god, Helios, with three spouts each fitted with sockets and flame style glass globes, and downward facing glass shade in center, but no socket inside.

39 inches tall and 16 inches across (99 by 41 cm).

Overall condition is good.  There are areas of verdigris noticeable on the bronze hanging arms.  There are a few small chip losses to the central glass shade.  The sockets are European bayonet style, B22 size.  It has old, possibly original wiring which should be replaced.  May be used here in the U.S., as bayonet style bulbs are available from specialty stores such as Grand Brass Lamp Parts and easily ordered online. We may rewire as needed prior to shipment.
