Our very unique ruby red glass vase features gilding and painted decorations of exoic birds in cages. Possibly of Bohemian origin for the Ottoman or Persian markets. Good condition, with no chip losses and some obvious rubbing wear to the gilding and enamel. Polished pontil with little wear and a few bubbles visible in the base. Note the imperfection on the side of the rim.
