Antique Persian Silverplated Lantern / Hanging Lamp

This pretty, antique silverplated lantern of Persian origin features a reticulated form with cartouches depicting everyday people in various endeavors as well as exotic animals. Measures approximately 12 inches tall.  It has a single, large socket and modern wiring and plug ready for us in the U.S.A.  There are some losses, repairs, and bends as seen in our images. The bend at the base could easily be fixed by a skilled metalsmith. There are a few spots of what appears to be house paint that may also be removed. Item ha-1694. Item sold as is. All sales final.
