This is a super nice raw-hide leather head mallet! The entire head is raw hide with press-formed flat stock rolled hide together in round form, to a 2" diameter. The handle passed through the head, and is 11.5" long, and very firmly attached to the head. The raw hide is in 95% like new condition, and the handle is about the same! A great no mar hammer or mallet to have in most any workshop!
