Antique Socket Firmer Chisel 1 inch

$20.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a nice clean 1.0" socket chisel believed to be an antique but has no maker's name anywhere on it that we can see. It is 12.2 inches long. It is sharp and ready to use. It is made of good quality steel, holds cutting edge really well. As you can see in the photos there is some pitting in the steel be not near the cutting edge area. A solid hardwood handle, fits snug no damage, good leather end cap, the handle has what appears to be a hang hole in it and has a slight grain separation lines leading from the end with the leather cap to the hole.  It's still solid and the leather cap seems to be keeping the grain separation lines from going any further.
