Quantity available: 1

Antique circa 1900 AD Tibetan Buddhist large silver chop seal stamp "Shanka."
The seal consists of a cylindrical body topped with a pommel shaped like the Flaming Wish-Fulfilling Jewel (Norbu Mebar). The body of the seal is a fine example of artistic mastery, being entirely hand-repoussé and chiseled in relief with scrolling foliage. The circular iron base at the bottom is hand-carved with double Vajra/Dorje.
Tibetan seals represent the unique artistry of Tibetan culture and were used for authentication and authorization, as the master's mark, and for sacred functions.
