This exceptional oil on canvas depictiing grapes and vine in the trompe l'oeil style is dated 1866 and signed Emma Seligman.  Canvas measures 10.25 x 12.25 in and the period frame measures approximately 14 x 16.25 in.   Canvas has been cleaned and relined.

Seligman exhibited at the National Academy in New York and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
