Oil on canvas, signed, monogram (see photo), well executed nineteenth century work, Italian, "Young Woman Holding A Flower". This painting is a striking example of by a well trained artist  whose signature (monogram) needs further research. The quality is too good to be done by anyone but a listed and known talent. I haven't had the time to really do justice to researching it thoroughly. I only ran it through Falk's book including monograms which is far from complete.
