Tightly Coiled Polychrome Old African Basket , of Rafia It is very old and has darken with age and it maybe a bit soiled. There is a pattern of brown lines that stair stepped down from the rim toward the center. There are some broken strands on the rim. The underside shows quite a bit of wear and some gaps between exposing the coils beneath.
