Old Photo Print Enlargement of Fishing docks at the Shilshoe Marina shoreline in the late 1890's or so. The area is west of the now known Ballard area in Seattle. In the lower right corner there maybe a signature but I can't tell. The image measures 14" x 9.5" and the frame is 15" x 19.5". The photo has been reprinted from the original negative and is mounted on a stiff backing. It cannot be removed without damaging it. The glass is missing. The image has some damage that is only noticeable upon close inspection. There are some surface scratches that do not seem to penetrate all the way through to the under layer. There there is some faint red marks in the upper right area that is also a the mat. I think that this image could be restored. Plus the flaws will not be as noticeable once it is re- framed behind glass.
