Old Wood and brass Document box. Nice old wooden box with brass decoration. The 2 emblems on the top remind me of the Masonic Lodge or Eastern Star motif, There is a piece of velvet on the top (that is not original) and none on the bottom. I believe this to be a small document box that would have held a tiny scroll of some kind. The hinges are screwed on, and the trim is nailed with tiny brass brads. The front has a place for a lock (but there was none with it). Very ornate and mint condition. Aprox 7 x 2 x 2""
