This color June 5, 1951 ad states Pleasant Moments in Sports by Bob Considine tells how Sir Thomas Lipton wanted the Americas cup more than he ever wanted anything else in his life. He spent 31 years and 15 million dollars trying to take that famous trophy back to his yacht club in Ireland. Picture shows Sir Thomas racing his Shamrock V against the American Yacht, Enterprise in rough seas.
