Petty framed Water-scape at Sunset Oil painting.   The foreground is a lonely  decrepit dock.  In the background is the outline of the one of the islands in the Puget Sound and behind that is the distant view of the Olympic Mountain foot hills.   The artist has captured the feeling of what it is like standing on the shore looking westwards just after the sun slipped behind the horizon.      The canvas measures 9.5" x 12".    The  wood frame adds an inch more.    It is signed "JAN" in the left hand corner. One the back of the frame and on the canvas is it  dated 1978.  

I cannot claim with certainty that is from the shores of Puget Sound.  However this is my impression.
