A collection of three Patung Batas Sawah / Paddy Field Guardians.
Erected from Kalimantan Barat of Dayak Serawai origin, each carved from a single piece hardest wood known to man, Belian / Iron / Billionwood. Circa 1920-40. Some natural lines and erosion due to old age and weather but otherwise in solid good condition, never repaired. Gorgeous primitive statue!
