Our client's pair of antique Chinese export cabinets on stands with fine gold and black lacquer finishes date from the second quarter of the 18th century and are in good condition.  Likely made for the Dutch or Danish markets, each with serpentine and scrolled cornices surmounted by urn-form finials above double doors that open to reveal elaborate architectural interiors fitted with drawers.  The lower stands fited with three drawers.  87 3/4 by 36 by 18 1/2 inches.  Literature:  Mallett's Great English Furniture, L.
