Our pair of ormolu bronze mounts from the early to mid 19th century in the Georgian style feature backplates surmounted with feather plumes with acanthus leaf and scrolling foliage, and candle arms in the shape of c-scrolls with acanthus leaf and bellflower motifs and swags.  Fitted for electricity sometime in the 20th century, but currently lacking sockets and wiring.  Currently installed are threaded cylindrical brass armbacks that can accept brass posts and sockets.
