Our pair of nineteenth century glass vases feature magnificent hand-painted decorations of birds of prey and gilding at the base and rim. One depicts a hawk confronting a snake and the other depicts a perched hawk with captured prey under its talon. Each measures 22 by 8.75 in (56 by 22 cm). Each in very good condition, with some rubbing wear to the gilding at base and rims, scratches, tiny nicks at the bases.  Each measures 22 by 8.75 in (56 by 22 cm).
