This pair of nineteenth century parcel gilt Venetian footed vases feature cartouches depicting courting lovers and semi-nude neoclassical females.  On the rear each features a Greek mask of a horned male.  Condition of the gilding and painted decorations is very good.  There is only limited wear, consistent with age.  There are no visible cracks or restorations, and only a tiny chip loss near the rim on one vase. Each measures 9.3 by 5 in (23.6 by 12.7 cm).
