Pair Louis XIV Style Gilt Bronze Sconces After Andre Charles Boulle

This fine pair of antique gilt bronze sconces after the original models by Andre Charles Boulle (1642-1732) measure 19 by 10 by 5 in (48 x 25 x 13 cm), and have two candle arms featuring elaborate and finely sculpted and cast motifs, including yawning dolphins and lizards.

Overall condition of each is good. There is rubbing wear and oxidation to the gilt finish, consisten with age, and the top candle arm of one is loose, but we may tighten it prior to shipment. ( ormolu gilded XVI XIV french )
